Beverly Massachusetts is at no shortage of fun! With events, stores and more you’re bound to enjoy all that this North Shore town has to offer.

If you're looking for fun activities in the Beverly, Massachusetts area, you’ll find that there is a plethora of exciting events. Celebrating Halloween and fall in New England, the Salem Haunted Happenings hosts more than 250,000 people each year. The events include the Grand Parade, Family Film Nights on Salem Common, Haunted Biz Baz Street Fair, haunted houses, ghost tours, costume balls, live music, and scary theatrical presentations.

The Topsfield Fair was created in 1818 and 200 years later, the fair still continues, "to encourage, promote and preserve Essex County agricultural activities and to educate the general public regarding their importance in an atmosphere of fun and excitement through the medium of the Topsfield Fair."  Located in Topsfield, MA the fair offers a little something for everyone to enjoy, such as performers, educational exhibits, rides, food/picnic and annual rotating special events.

This summer marks the 50th Annual Beverly Homecoming event.  The goal of this event is to bring people together to have fun and celebrate their wonderful hometown. This 10 day event has grown over the years and now includes more than 40 fun filled events for everyone to enjoy, including its signature Lobster Festival.

For over 13 years, the Arts Fest Beverly on Main Street has entertained all who attend.  This free outdoor festival offers fun for the whole family, including over 100 talented, fine artists and crafters, music and entertainment, art-on-the-spot creations, kids' activities and local, fresh and delicious cuisine.

Does anything sound sweeter than a chocolate and wine tasting event?  Check out the Salem So Sweet Chocolate & Ice Sculpture Festival. This scrumptious tasting event showcases wine and chocolate samplings from leading Salem restaurants, stores, and sweet shops.  The Ice Sculpture Festival is located in downtown Salem. Each year the sculptures are created to resemble different themes. A map of sculptures and locations will be available on brochures distributed around town near the festival.

The Salem Film Fest is in its ninth year and is one of New England's largest documentary film festivals. This festival offers a dynamic and diverse collection of the year's finest work from all over the world.  The Salem Film Fest focuses on interesting stories that contain wonderful visual approaches, strong technical elements and are screened over the week long schedule.

The Salem Jazz and Soul Festival offers a series of annual free concerts to the public that ends with their annual main festival at the Willows, during August.  This festival draws more than 6,000 people to the Salem Willows each year for the free two-day concert.  Throughout the spring and summer months, there is also an SJSF/Berklee Summer Series — in partnership with Berklee College of Music — in downtown Salem on Saturdays in May June, July and August; a City of Salem Jazz Appreciation Day in April; and an annual fundraiser, which is their only ticketed event throughout the year.

The annual Gloucester Schooner Festival is organized by the Gloucester Schooner Festival Committee and Maritime Gloucester.  Known otherwise as Gloucester’s major maritime and sailing event, it is held in the harbor and nearby waters of the oldest seaport in America. The Gloucester Schooner Festival pays tribute to the major impact the fishing schooner has played in the history of Gloucester and the entire eastern seaboard.
