Christmas Events on Massachusetts’ North Shore
Christmas in Salem
The rich history of the Salem, MA, community coincides with the holiday season for this holiday celebration. Christmas in Salem features tours of historic homes festooned with holiday decorations from December 2-4, 2016.
Purchasing tickets for house tours also includes a program book, which will grant you admission to lots of other holiday events in Salem. These include: wine tastings, walking tours, mini food tours and tastings, and more.
North Shore Music Theater
A Christmas Carol will be performed at North Shore Music Theater this coming season. See this classic tale of redemption and the Christmas spirit between December 9 and 23.
The Cabot Theater
For a Christmas music show, head to The Cabot. You can see Darlene Love Rocks the Holidays, the singer’s Christmas-themed show, on December 13 at 6 p.m. She’ll sing odes to the season as well as her popular rendition of “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).”
Christmas with the Celts is another holiday extravaganza. Enjoy holiday songs with roots planted in the Celtic music tradition. It all happens on December 11 at 6 p.m.
The Larcom Theater
The Larcom Theater will be hosting Christmas shows, too. Check out festive performances such as Eileen Ivers – A Joyful Christmas from the famed violinist on December 8, or a perennial holiday classic, The Nutcracker, on December 16 to 18.
Don’t forget shopping at the Northshore Mall, with so many stores you are bound to find the perfect gift for everyone on your shopping list. And don’t forget stopping by to see Santa who arrives on November 3 and will be there through December 24.
Cap off these Christmas events with a stay at the Wylie Inn and Conference Center. Better yet, book one of our guestrooms with the Bed and Breakfast Package for the perfect way to enjoy the area festivities in comfort.
